ABC Family has renewed Pretty Little Liars for a second season and The Secret Life of an American Teenager for a fourth season, according to a press release from ABC on January 10, 2011. The pickup of the two original series was announced by ABC Family President Michael Riley at the network’s TCA panel at the Langham Hotel in Pasadena.

The Secret Life of an American Teenager returns for its third season on Monday, March 28, 2011 at 8:00 p.m. ET. The fourth season of the series is tentiviely scheduled for summer of 2011. The Secret Life of an American Teenager is created and executive produced by Brenda Hampton. The cast includes Shailene Woodley, Ken Baumann, Mark Derwin, India Eisley, Greg Finley, Daren Kagasoff, Megan Park, Francia Raisa, Steve Schirripa and Molly Ringwald.
Pretty Little Liars, which airs on Monday nights at 8:00 p.m. ET, is currently in its first season. The second season of the series is also tentively scheduled for the summer of 2011. The cast of Pretty Little Liars includes Troian Bellisario, Ashley Benson, Holly Marie Combs, Lucy Hale, Ian Harding, Bianco Lawson, Laura Leighton, Chad Lowe, Shay Mitchell and Sasha Pieterse
